Saipem

IAS, in conjunction with our partner Cansco, was contracted by Saipem to conduct a Well Control Equipment Analysis across their Saudi operation.

Adopting a People, Plant and Process approach one of our Drilling SMEs and a Cansco Technician conducted an audit across several of their rigs including the Saipem Support base.

Once the audit was completed, we provided Saipem with a comprehensive report detailing our findings and recommendations on the competence of their people, the effectiveness of their processes and procedures. We also provided a detailed report on the condition of their equipment and spares.

Based on the findings of the audit we then developed and delivered Fundamental Well Control Equipment Training Courses. By identifying the issues and implementing bespoke solutions improvements in performance standards were quickly recognised.
