Pan American Energy (PAE)
The IAS International team were engaged by Pan American Energy and their Energy Learning Centre (ELC) team in Argentina, to provide a combination of new integrated training, development, and competence programs with new simulation technology to maximize the efficiency of their drilling operations.
A detailed analysis was completed, and the findings were then incorporated into Training and Competence Assessment Programs that utilized the new Training Based Simulators (TBS) to make real and quantifiable improvements in their rig operations efficiency and performance.
The PAE ELC team have:
- Delivered over 80 training courses
- Developed over 84 new operational best practices utilizing the skills and techniques taught by the IAS International SMEs
- Prevented 15 rig failures and NPT incidents
